How Is It Done?
Face mesotherapy technique makes use of micro or very fine needles for delivering the injections in a series into the skin’s mesoderm or middle layer. The injections will have the following substances, one or combination.
- Herbal extracts
- Prescribed medicine like antibiotics and vasodilators
- Minerals and vitamins
- Hormones, like thyroxin and calcitonin
Before the session starts, numbing medicine would be applied to the skin on the face. A special and short needle is then used and a series of injections are given on the face. Usually, multiple injections are delivered as a row by attaching the needle to a mechanical gun.
All the injections are not given at the same depth, but at varied depths, like 1 to 4 mm deep into the skin and also at various angles, by turning their wrists, usually on the basis of the face condition.
The final and desired effect can be obtained after multiple sessions, usually from 3 to 15 sessions. Initially, each session is done at the intervals of 7 to 10 days, while in the later sessions, it takes gap of 2 weeks to one month.
Mesotherapy stands as a promising treatment for body contouring and removing the fat that is unwanted. Other benefits are its effectiveness, while safety is assured.
